Pinehog Productions, tailored Comedy events for your brand
If you have something to say – we’ll help you tell it in a funny way.
For more than 15 years, we’ve been in the fast lane of female-led comedy. Uniting Clara’s award-winning productions and Hatty’s charming stage presence, we create bespoke comedy events that inspire and entertain.
Now, we’re on a mission to shine a light on women – and put their unique perspectives, stories and humour in the spotlight.
We create experiences that build your brand and connect with your audiences in a way that only comedy can.
We’ve worked with household names like Barcardi, Deloitte and Channel 4 and had the pleasure to work our magic with fabulous female-led brands like Miss Jones and Mumcozy – to name a few.
For those projects where comedy doesn’t fit the brief – but fun and interesting ideas do – talk to us about presenters, hosts, facilitators, magicians or any style of entertainment which compliments your brand.“Nice N’ Spiky Comedy (Clara) and Screaming With Laughter (Hatty) provided us with a unique live event to support our Stand Up For Mums comedy show in the UK. Our audiences had a fabulous day, fantastic selection of parent comedians, great venue choice, party atmosphere.
Clara’s remarkable energy, quick responses, and thoughtful approach were impressive.
Hatty, as a host and comedian, brought a unique charm to the event. Their team’s dedication and attention to detail, coupled with their ability to swiftly execute plans, were commendable. We highly recommend them for any live event needs, as they are sure to exceed expectations”

No one knows how to cut through the noise like women in comedy. And Pinehog
Productions combines two of the best.
Producers as experienced as Clara Heimerdinger are a rare find.
For the last 20 years, she’s specialised in producing and promoting live comedy and entertainment. Clara honed her skills in production management at BBC Radio before launching Nice N’ Spiky Comedy and Comedy in the Office. She delivers large-scale comedy shows to big brands – working with corporates, hotels, private members clubs, co-working spaces and festivals; and the list just keeps on growing… Her reputation for star-studded line ups; perfectly-curated bills and laugh out loud shows are
as well-known as her impeccable attention to detail. No production or technical element gets past her well-trained eye. If Clara’s not at her desk programming an event, or backstage producing, then you’ll find her in the audience – keeping an eye out for the next big thing.
Hatty is a one-woman wonder: a comedian, MC, writer, broadcaster and Mum.
She delivers a brand of comedy celebrated for its warmth, inclusivity, and unpretentious fun. In her presence, audiences feel immediately at ease in the live comedy environment – ready to let loose and laugh out loud.
Hatty’s no stranger to stage, screen or radio – whether she’s in the spotlight or in behind the scenes.
Since 2009, she’s preformed stand-up everywhere – from Underbelly and Edinburgh Fringe to the Secret Garden Festival, Soho House and The Ned. She co-wrote and created the Comedy Central sitcom Give Out Girls, has starred in BBC Radio 4 sitcom Romance and Adventure, presented on BBC London Radio and has interviewed legends like James Brown, Lou Reed and Esther Rantzen for the BBC and Channel 4.
When she’s not rubbing shoulders with the UK comedy circuit’s finest – she presents her long-running podcast, Funny Mummies and hosts Screaming with Laughter – the original parent and baby comedy club.
“Hatty Ashdown’s brain is made up of funny molecules. She makes me laugh. And laugh. And then laugh” Robert Popper (Writer Channel 4’s Friday Night Dinner).
