If there’s anything we’ve missed, or you need further clarification, please drop us a line at screamingwithlaughter@gmail.com
We get lots of parents coming alone and it’s a great way to meet others! Plus we are here to hold a baby should you need to nip to the loo or bar and our team are CRB checked.
No, we take special care in picking the best acts for different line ups every month – often with the same MC. Keep an eye on our gig listings for full ine up info.
We ask that you email us so that our front of house can be ready to help you and if preferred we can reserve you seating.
If you’d like to reserve five or more seats please feel free to email us screamingwithlaughter@gmail.com with the subject “reservation” and the show and we’ll do our very best.
That’s why we’re called Screaming with Laughter! You are free to sway, bob or walk around with your baby.
Absolutely, we are BFF and the acts are completely respectful and tactful should you need to whip out a boob or bottle.
Yes we have two baby changing facilities at all our venues, except Snooty Fox and Celebrations which each have one.
There are a handful at most venues.
YES! It’s our number one priority at SWL – well, after good comedy.
All our venues do food, except Celebrations in Bexleyheath, but you are invited to order in or bring your own food. The Poplar Union has a cafe but food cannot be eaten during the show.
No, the club is designed for those with babies, whether you’re the friend, aunt, grandparent or nanny. We also welcome expectant parents, especially as those last few months of pregnancy can drag and it will give you the chance to check out the club before you have a baby to bring!
No, tickets are per adult – baby goes free!
Yes, it’s recommended. All our shows are booked in advance and often sell out so it is advisable to pre-book when you can, as we can’t guarantee tickets on the door.
The shows are an hour and half with a short interval. Most venues start at 1pm, but check for updates.
We cap the age at 12 months (give or take a month or two- we won’t ID them!). We set the age restriction for your guidance as comedians do normal club sets and the clubs are not set up for little walkers.
You can bring your buggy, but buggies cannot be kept with you while watching the comedy (except with twins). You can use the bassinet of the pram, a car seat or we advise bringing a sling. Each venue has a designated pram parking area. The Snooty Fox in Canonbury has very limited pram parking and so if its possible not to bring prams that would be helpful or we can help you fold them. Please check individual venues for full details.
